More Beach!

So two more days on the beach who says England has rubbish weather? Well in fact it has been a bit rubbish but we Donnans are hardy types and know there is lots of fun to be had on the beach even when there is a distinct lack of solar interest.

So a lot more digging, skimming, cricket, jumping in waves and some ace body boarding from Alfie.[singlepic=56,320,240,,right]

We have also sampled the local fish and chips and chinese, both of which were excellent.

It seems that the rain will hold off for a few more days so we should manage to spend a little more time on the beach, hurrah.

This makes me ponder, after all Norfolk has some amazing beaches, plenty of places to stay and is in theory not far from home. Maybe the ideal holiday destination? The issue we have however is a metrological one; we cannot say it is going to be sunny. When the sun shines then it is all wonderful, however, as we have found out even in August there is no guarantee of decent weather. Good job there is global warming, a few degrees here and there and Norfolk will be glorious, long hot sunny days will abound it really will be the ideal destination apart from the fact of course that by then it will all be under water:)
