A short walk

day 2 in the mad mother house. Alfie wanted to see my old school so we went out for an early drive.
The first stop was Narworth castle where we spotted some small deer.
Then the castle..
After this we headed for the Roman wall where Poppy decided she was camera shy
Then onto Lees Hill which I’m sure used to look bigger than this!
Then back for a coffee and a special brush for Ben from his best friend Poppy
We then put on our boots and went to find the nearest geocache which was up on the Ridge, once we got onto the top we could see Walton (where we used to live).
The cache was quite easy to find, the children (and Tom) were pretty pleased about it.
Our reward (after some lunch) was a quick pint in the Blacksmiths, with entertainment by Poppy.
